Apparently, The VERSE is a name that's been used more than once.

(1) A band based in Taipei, Taiwan by 陳綺貞 a popular singer-songwriter , 鍾成虎 a guitarist and producer, 陳建騏 a producer/composer. In 2006, Golden Melody Award-winning producer Tiger Chung (鍾成虎) teamed up with renowned composer Chen Chien Chi (陳建騏) to form the experimental group The Voice, whose refreshing electronic pop single Get on the Train threw a bomb on Taiwan's indie music scene. In 2012, the team is back with a new member – indie pop queen Cheer Chen (陳綺貞). The fan-favorite singer-songwriter intends to explore the limits of electronic music with the duo as a side project. Breaking away from their usual folk rock sound, the group (now known as The VERSE) is releasing their first album, which features the titular song 52 Hertz featuring downbeat/downtempo and French electronic style of experimental music.

(2) is a Beijing-based funk band that plays original tunes in both English and Mandarin, and blends classic funk with ska, punk and reggae.
