Daniel Hůlka was born on 1st May 1968 in Prague. He passed Conservatory of Prague and sang opera in many theatres - J. K. Tyl's in Pilsen, F. X. Sald's in Liberec, guested in National theatre.

He got Czech's special award (Silver nightingale) in 1997, and one year later it was Golden award for 1st place.
