Flowerpot are a four-piece alt-rock band from Bristol, formed in 2014. With a multitude of influences from Muse, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Guns n Roses, AC/DC, Led Zeppelin,The Runaways and Motorhead, Flowerpot infuse intricate drum beats, catchy slashing guitar riffs, thumping heavy bass lines and powerful melodic vocals.
Originally a trio including Serena Mirelle on vocals and Ellie Daymond on drums, they became a quartet with the addition of Louisa Maria Baker on guitar and Morgan Pearce on bass. After Mirelle left in 2015, Baker took over lead vocals and the band released two EPs.
Baker left in 2016, later to join Tequila Mockingbyrd, and was replaced by Steph Kiddle on vocals, and Louise Stroud on guitar. Daymond left in 2017, and joined JOANovARC in 2019. She was replaced by Jess Hartley (also drummer for Haxan). Stroud left the band shortly afterwards, and after a string of temporary guitarists, was ultimately replaced by Tom Prangley. in 2018, Pearce performed with The Amorettes on a temporary basis.
The lineup of Kiddle, Prangley, Pearce and Hartley released the "Trouble" EP in 2019. Flowerpot have supported Cherie Currie, CJ Wildheart, The Amorettes, Raveneye, Inglorious and JOANovARC among others.
