Wavvyboi (born April 28, 1998 in Balzers, Liechtenstein; real name Simon Vogt), stylized as wavvyboi, is a singer and songwriter from Liechtenstein.

At the age of twelve, he began taking piano lessons with Stefan Frommelt, who introduced him to music and introduced him to the basics of music production. As a teenager he played in various alternative bands, in which he also worked as a singer for the first time, after which he began publishing song covers on the streaming platform SoundCloud. When he shared one of his own songs in a Facebook group, other artists from Germany, including Dat Adam, became aware of him and invited him to their studio. That was the deciding factor that ultimately led Simon to drop out of school and move to Cologne in order to be able to focus completely on his music career. In addition to a few smaller appearances in Liechtenstein, he played a tour through Germany, Austria and Switzerland in 2019 as part of the musician collective CYBER-GEN. He has been under contract with the music label Space Music Records, which collaborates with Groove Attack and Chimperator Live, since 2019.

He cites Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles, The Weeknd, Lil Peep and Kurt Cobain as musical influences and inspirations. In his songs, the Liechtenstein native processes his fears and worries and expresses his feelings and experiences. Through music he processes traumatic experiences and personal problems and gives listeners intimate insights into his life, from mental illness and painful memories to the drug abuse that resulted from them. His style, which he describes as emo-R'n'B, ranges from contemporary R&B to emo or goth. His music is characterized by deep, dark beats and often dominant guitar use paired with melancholic, gentle and high-pitched melodies.

Themes such as self-discovery and self-realization can also be found in his external appearance. His aesthetics and expression contain goth and grunge elements, but also often stereotypically feminine elements, such as makeup or nail polish, with which he consciously defies social conventions and expresses his androgyny.
