Three years later, Zoli was successful again when Marina Lima recorded "À French", a partnership with the singer's brother, Antônio Cícero. Later, Elba Ramalho recorded his "Urgent Happiness". His career as an interpreter, however, started to not go so well, and in 1993 he joined the group Tigres de Bengala (with Ritchie and Vinícius Cantuária). In 1999, Zoli resumed his solo career (interrupted for eight years) with "Férias", an album in which he added elements of rap and R&B to his traditional soul-funk-samba
