Kidboy is Rafa Sibajas, a producer and versatile musician based in Granada. Throughout his musical career as a session musician he has take part of several projects and bands from diverse styles as jazz, funk, latin, flamenco, rock, symphonic orchestras and contemporary music. In Granada he formed as a musician on classic double bass, jazz and flamenco while also djing and producing his own tracks. As a dj his influences are very diverse, funk, broken beat, hip-hop, disco, jazz, latin, brazilian and reggae searching for an balance between organic and electronic sound. As a producer he is more focused on the jazz and electronica fusion taking elements from hip hop, funk or latin. His productions have been published on labels as Jazz & Milk, Unfold/Tru Thoughts (Quantic), Fluid Ounce (Zero dB), Chocolat Soul Records and Nuevos Medios. On his productions and live shows he has collaborated with musicians and vocalists from all over the globe like american rapper Ohmega Watts who has published two albums on the Ubiquity label and also worked with Quantic, The Bamboos and Breakestra. With rapper BluRum 13 best known for his project One Self on the Ninja Tune label with Dj Vadim and Yarah Bravo. With pianists from the spanish jazz scene as Juan Galiardo from Cadiz or Jo Junghanss from the New York and German scene, also Andrew Linch, australian saxophonist or Julio Rodriguez, singer and percussionist from Cuba among others.
