Supreme Commander is a Washington, DC melodic hardcore punk band that formed in 2005 with ex-members of Daycare Swindlers, Latchkey and Wake up Cold. They draw on a diverse mix of influences and play a straight forward style of hardcore punk with songs that are fast and melodic.

The band quickly recorded a demo and began playing shows in and around DC, VA, MD. A couple of short East Coast tours followed and one year later the band released a split 7" with Two Man Advantage on Basement Records. They followed that up with a 7" EP on A389 Records called "120 Years in the Business" in 2007 and a split CD with Alive At Last on Bishop 19 Records in 2008. They began work on a full length in 2009, scrapped it in 2010 but are set to record and release a full length CD of new material in 2011. Read more on Last.fm.
