Subhira (Rodrigo Cepeda) pianist and multi-instrumentalist got his degree on Composition at the Modern School of Music (Santiago-Chile) in 1995. He has published 5 records (3 as a soloist and 2 with his group EQUS). He also produced the record " El Bio-Bio Sigue Cantando" (Mvd 3001) and has composed the music for several films and documentaries. In his work as a soloist, he explores on mixing ethnic and folk styles with classical and Latin American soft styles. Compositions for piano accompanied by instruments such as the flute, oboe, guitar, cello, ethnic instruments and keyboard in a unique style.

Combining the musical traditions of Chile with classical and Latin American influences, Subhira (born Rodrigo Cepeda) has created some of Central America's most adventurous music. In addition to supplying soundtracks for Chilean films and video documentaries, Subhira has recorded as a soloist and in collaboration with his electro-acoustic band Equs.
