Upon its release in 2009, Minta & The Brook Trout's self-titled first LP was deemed "one of the best Portuguese albums of the year" by Blitz magazine and said to feature "absolutely wonderful music made of luminous and sublime songs" (i online).

Minta & The Brook Trout's sophomore album, "Olympia", is out September 2012 on Optimus DIscos.
