How it all started….

After tireless bullshitting around for two years mushy-cute Teenie-Punk-Band ‘Saccharine Smile’ splits up. After smaller solo-projects the ‘Independent-Duo’ MARILYN’S ARMY is formed in September on 87.
After trying this and that, they start to make a name for themselves in the region.
Early 1989 the Duo meets a gifted violinist that joined the band.
Several gigs, Studio-recording (with the Voodoo (Philip Boa) just to name one), a self produced and published Single, airtime on the radio, exposure in underground mags where the early highlights of the trio.
With this confidence-pillow and their debut LP MARILYN’S ARMY started their attack on the german pop-music-heaven.
