Nat Osborn(lead vocals, keyboard, guitar), Dustin Carlson(lead vocals, lead guitar), and Joe Doino(back up vocals, drums) all lived and grew up in Pelham, NY where they were all focused on music independently from eachother. The summer before Nat went to college, and during a time when Dustin had returned from a stint on the West coast the two got together to jam. The two found their styles very compatible and Nat suggested they play with a local drummer who he had gone to school with (Joe). That summer the group came together as a truly cohesive musical group that wrote pop songs but never shied away from a deep jam. They continued to flourish over the next year, despite being at different schools for much of it. After many songs, great performances in top NYC clubs (Kenny's Castaways, Arlene's Grocery, The Bitter End), Midnight Thirty decided that a full time bassist would really add a lot to the band. Nat suggested his good friend Brian McGowan from Skidmore and after one session it was clear that he was the one. Home continues to play, record, and grow as a group, as friends, and as ninjas.

After a terrific run in the 2006 Emergenza Festival, culminating with a 5th place finish at the US-East Final @ Webster Hall NYC. The End of July 2006 saw the band release their first full length album, Midnight Thirty.
