Sanura is an R&B Vocalist and Producer that is best known for fusing her love of soulful sounds and the lush harmonies of yesteryear into every song she creates. Influenced by the likes of Erykah Badu, Mary J. Blige, and Amy Winehouse, the Soul Seductress stays true to her vocal powerhouse roots while sharing her own vulnerabilities and personal experiences with her audience. Hailing from Virginia Beach, VA, Sanura spent her earlier years sharpening her vocal skills, modeling for local brands, and making a name for herself in her hometown.
The songstress moved to Los Angeles in 2015 to officially pursue her career in Entertainment. Signing with a talent agency 6 months after the move, she starred in dozens of commercials and print ads, namely Microsoft, Verizon, Old Navy, and more. Shortly after, Sanura started working as a touring background vocalist for the legendary Stevie Wonder, sharing stages with various A-list Entertainers all over the world.
In 2016, Sanura released her first self-produced EP entitled 'SAGA', a largely experimental project in which she stepped away from her R&B roots to explore more House and Synth-Soul driven sounds. She has since returned to her R&B beginnings, this time delving into the soulful, nostalgic vibes of the late 60's and early 70's.
