Old meets New are a few thoughts that bulge out when mentioning the new found artist who embodies the true meaning of Hip Hop. bringing back the raw, uncut and ecstatic lyrics and rhyme patterns since Compton's own Eazy-E. Combined with the modern styles of the music industry, Rich Double, using his lyrics as an inspirational motivating force to drive the individuals on the court chasing hoop dreams, to the low end professionals on street corners. Even the hard workers working nine to five to the students chasing their dreams through books. His music uplifts the viewers to help them get through their day to day trails and enstill the ideal to "make you next day better than your last."

starting out as an undermined talent, and playground free-styles, Richard Casseus Bernard, better known as Rich Double did not fully understand the extent of his abilities with his "sliver tongue". He began simple free-styles at the age of seven, at elementary school battles, which sparked a true passion for his witty rhymes and metaphors, which he continued to build on. His music was fueled by his anger of his mother's present absence, which steered his music to the specific genre it is today. Creating various songs with nothing but his memory, Rich Double's book of rhymes was encrypted in his mind and he always remembers his musical pieces. he dominated battle after battle and crushed his opponents through his lyrical genius. he gained popularity with his rhymes and battles from his peers at school, they would never miss a chance to see Rich Double in the act of mentally and socially destroying his opponents through his comical lyrical flow.

coming to the end of his high school football career, Rich Double had no idea where his life was headed. he took up the offer to go to the studio for the first time by his close friend. setting his first step in the recording booth was when he realized that he was meant to be apart of something great and create something the world has never seen before. it was at this moment that Rich Double realized his calling and knew he could only go up from there. although he faced trouble with the transition of playground free-styles to actual recordings, that did not stop Rich double from going back to the open mic booth that he loved. it actual inspired him to expand his mind and dig deep for a magnificent lyrical piece. for the first time, Rich Double began writing down his songs and thoughts to put his rhyming pieces with original instrumentals. this transformation from a free time lyricist to a full blown artist who eats, sleeps, and breathes his music showed Rich Double how he prepared for this moment for the eleven year time frame of elementary to high school graduation.
