New Ro (formerly known as Ronya), born as Ronja Richardsdotter Gullichsen (aka Ronja Stanley) on the 9th of November 1991 in Siuntio, Finland, is a Finnish Swedish-British singer-songwriter, producer and comedienne from Helsinki, Finland. The independent artist is known for her fempop anthems, empowering live performances and as a diligent comedienne to her social media followers. More recently, New Ro has been focusing on honing her skills as a producer, creating her own sound and becoming more independent than ever before. New Ro’s own artpop tunes combines her love for retro synths and hypnotic drums, creating a perfect base for her intimate vocals and heartwarming storytelling.
