LLOYD( D.J PHRESH KUTZ)BROWN It all started in 1981, in little town called Bakersfield California where Lloyd rocked his first house party for some neighbors. Not having no equipment, he used their cassette & record player but played his music! they loved it!! It was then, when it was all over. They paid an 11 year old kid $85.00 for playing some music…wow! I’m rich! After gathering his music Lloyd went home and couldn’t sleep. Feeling like the richest kid in elementary school the next day. Lloyd decided I want do this for ever!!. Having a natural talent with passion for music the goals were set. Hammering moms for two turntables was difficult with siblings and being a single parent. But like most mothers she pulled through. Now with turntables, the mission was to get to L.A. on the week-ends for record shopping. As the years went on, Lloyd developed the ear for making his own music.Producing his first record in 1988 with the group U-TURN, the smash 12”single Suzuki Samurai, production got deeper. It wasn’t till he hit the streets with his mix-tapes and running into an artist named AKREAM of Alaska that he was yet to see the world. Flying from California to Alaska, producing Arctic flow records and off to Europe for the production of the Josh Boots Lp Lloyd was starting to feel more like Dr.Dre. Spinning turntables for numerous high school, clubs, weddings, family reunions, and major concert events. Lloyd has earned a positive reputation for making people dance Being offered a full time on-air radio personality position for K.I.S.Vfm and Picked up by Snoop Dogg for a six week world tour, Lloyds perspective changed.
