Born and raised in Compton, Ca. Wes Coas was active in the underground hip hop scene, performing at various festivals and venue's. Having been seasoned by Los Angeles underground veteren's. Wes has a strong commitment to lyricism, and uplifting the hopes and dreams of listeners ,however he has managed to not isolate any hip hop fans. Appreciative of all fans that he has been able to interact with, he manages to reach out to his fans directly through many social networks such as Myspace, Facebook, and his blog, Wescoasstateofmind.

Known for unbreakable determination, Wes has become a juggernaut in the hip hop scene, here are some descriptions of Wes Coas in the media.

"Upcoming artist, Wes Coas, has an elaborate way of drawing the audience into his lyrics. Edgy, fresh, and not your average rapper, making it cool again to be creative. This is real hip hop!"- www.eartodastreetz.com

".....Song after song, the message gets deeper and deeper on who Wes Coas is.... With songs such as Hustler's Motivation, Moving, Manifest, and etc., it causes you to have tracks for every situation or mood you may be in.Basically, the album brings what most rappers are lacking...True Hip-Hop."

In 2009 Wes Coas introduces his debut album "Manifest Destiny". Reminiscent lyrically of an early 90's Ice Cube and the vision of hip hop moguls such as Jay-z, Percy Miller, Sean Comb's and Curtis Jackson Wes offers 15 diverse tracks that introduce a true artist, a hustler, a social activist. By definition Wes Coas is the embodiment of a the hybrid artist. With the work ethic of Lil Wayne and the business sense of a M.B.A. grad he is poised to make an impact in the industry.
