Joel Valle was the first of five children born to Mexican immigrants during the late 80’s in Hood River, OR. He started singing at parties and talent shows as early as 4 years old and became interested in playing the piano after he saw a friend perform at church. Soon he began taking piano lessons, but it was when his Uncle started teaching him guitar at age 10, that he quickly found his passion. His Uncle taught him all he knew and Joel quickly surpassed him. Since then he has been mostly self-taught and has also taught himself to play drums. Joel has been influenced by some of the greats, including The Beatles, James Taylor, Santana, Bruce Springsteen and Dave Mathews.

Although Joel has always wanted to make an album, he never would have imagined that his first CD would be a children’s song collection.
Mi guitarrí features Joel's smooth voice and acoustic guitar.
