Cerebral Cortex is a metal band formed in Toledo Ohio in 2019. The main concept of our lyrics is writing songs about psychological, physical, and philosophical ideas relating to the brain and how it affects consciousness, awareness, impairment, etc. What cannot be visualized inside the brain from x-rays, autopsies, or an MRI is a mystery and we write songs about how we envision those mysterious concepts.
