Doug Feasel aka LOANER is a musician, a performer, a man of passion and inspiration, in a word he is an artist.
LOANER is a rock band, drummer, guitarist, bassist, and singer. Doug is all about playing his LOANER tunes to anyone that will let him. Doug writes and performs the music that is LOANER, music that he is passionate about, ROCK MUSIC. No synthesizers, dj scratches, drum machines, just guitar, bass, drums and rock vocals. Doug shares the live stage with a full band and they help him bring his music to life. You won’t forget a show with LOANER.
When Doug is not doing LOANER shows he out doing gigs on drums, or playing guitar with other artist, from rock, funk, and country. Doug is open to all styles of music. He is a solid drummer, live or in sessions.
Doug started his musical journey back in his father’s church as a child, playing drums. It was a family thing, his mother on piano, to his brothers on guitars. In High School he began to learn more important things about drumming besides just playing loud. He met his classmate and fellow drummer Shawn Fichter(Peter Frampton, Trisha Yearwood, etc.) his junior year. Looking back Shawn opened his eyes to a lot of things based around drums. Doug kept practicing and got his chops up to par. Years later he formed a band with his brothers Feezel in the mid-west. Touring throughout the U. S., opening for many well known bands like P.O.D., Switchfoot, MXPX, etc. Feezel ran its course and had a blast doing what they did. Doug continued his musical career while playing with a variety of bands and artist.
Now fast forward to this present day. Doug lives out west in sunny Arizona. Doug aka LOANER stays busy writing music, playing live.
