Phonic Dialog is a Filipino rock band comprised of musicians strangely glued by their assorted musical preferences and a shared drive to simply make music. The members are Mat Rabena on vocals and guitar, Iya Regalario on lead, and Pat Peralta on bass, leaving an open seat for sessionists to bring in the beats into the collaboration.

They have been around the independent music scene since 2010. In May of that year, Mat an old-timer from bands "Mat" and "Apologia" merges with Iya (also bassist of punk band Mauis Tailor), Pat (also bassist of indie band Marshas), and their previous drummer who at the time were on the lookout for a new vocalist after the recent breakup of their original band. After yet again, a major line-up change in March 2011, the group emerges as a 3-piece all-female band aimed and ready to establish a distinctive rock sound meant to keep curious ears keenly tuned in.

Having different creative backgrounds, the by-product is a range of rock sub-genres from the aggressive and upbeat to the minimalist and melancholic. Their songs are crafted with lyrics that speak of quintessential life experiences accompanied by prolific musical arrangements with an ear for decent dynamics.
