The Weeknights are a band consisting of four individuals, a band of brothers or, rather, two sets of doppelgangers. Hailing from two tiny villages either side of the fourth smallest city in England and having a 'penchant for tight trousers and checked shirts', the boys play catchy indie-electro music with a 'highly original sound'. Described as 'one of Harrogate's finest (and youngest) hidden gems', The Weeknights can offer an 'innovative' and 'blistering' live performance.
After placing 3rd in Harrogate's AMP Awards, The Weeknights have gone from strength to strength, playing Yorkshire's top venues and supporting indie favourites Field Music and 'have the potential to be a great success'. Their music has been loosely compared to early Bloc Party and is said to have parallels with Two Door Cinema Club and Vampire Weekend, but cannot be categorised with ease...
