Harvey Alexis Gonzalez Lara aka ‘LEX LARA’ was born 1981 in Managua, Nicaragua.
The same year the family moved to Miami. Since his tender age of 13 he was listening to Depeche Mode Ace To Base and then actual electronic music movement. Due to his Hispanic background, he got influenced by the Latin music as well. In his High school years he got inspired by the Talents such as David Padilla, George Acosta and George Alvarado. By discovering the NUBREED CD by Steve Lawler, he definitely got hooked! Lex Lara has graced since, diverse Hot spots in Miami and Miami Beach at top Venues such as B.E.D., Nocturnal and the C-Level Rooftop at the world famous Clevelander.
He is a regular booked DJ, at Miami fastest growing Festival the “Spirit Of Sound Gathering”. 2010 marks his kick off in the professional Music-world. Lex Lara remixed ‘Jealous Girls’ by Rock-Pop artist, Yenisley.
His first track “Come On” came out on a Compilation album released by SHEEVA Records. In May 2011 he got introduced to Ron D 8 Lim head honcho, Founder and CEO of Power Of Love Productions and signed his very first release “Just A Taste EP”.
