M.O.B. Trey provides, not only some of the most impressive and intricate lyrical displays, but one of the grittiest and honest styles to street music.

In June 2011, his debut album "The Art Of WAR Author" was released as a preliminary to a more serious and focused record coming in the near future. He succeeded in gaining a fair amount of attention with the 3 singles "Apply Pressure Ft Cassidy", "The Lust", and "Black Hoody Music" showing his high level of lyricism as well as his versatility. In September, the first single for his sophomore album, entitled "Pressures Down ", which featured Crooked I, premiered and gained attention and acclaim for its complex lyrics leading into the second single, "Dim The Lights", that dropped the following month. His second album "The D.R.E.A.M." dropped January 2012 to an even higher sales rate and more positive response and critic review.
