CLØWD was a Japanese visual kei band signed to Danger Crue Records, active from 2014 to 2018. The band was formed in late 2014 and officially introduced to the public on December 8 of that year. Its lineup consisted of vocalist KØU from the Sherry, guitarist Iori (庵) from R'EVOLV (レボルブ), guitarist Touma (冬真) from L&DS, bassist Ryohei (猟平) from VELBET (ベルベット) and support drummer Tatsuru (樹). Their name, CLØWD, was intended to be read as "Cloud", symbolizing their aspiration to reach the heights of cloud nine.

Their debut performance took place on January 8, 2015, at Ikebukuro EDGE, coinciding with the release of their first single, WAKE UP, which quickly sold out. This early momentum continued with their debut mini-album, fictionØ, released in April 2015, which included five tracks and a music video for Seventh Sense (セブンスセンス).

Over the next few years, CLØWD built a steady following with a series of singles and albums, such as #Natsu no Binetsu (#夏の微熱) in 2015, TENDERLOIN in 2016, and ANTITHESE later that year. The band's releases were characterized by dynamic compositions that balanced melodic hooks with heavier, more aggressive rock elements.

CLØWD continued to gain popularity, performing regularly in Japan and holding multiple successful one-man live events and a twoman with DADAROMA in November 2015. In 2018, they released their final single, NO BORDER, and embarked on their last tour, which culminated in their disbandment on August 25, 2018. A farewell DVD titled CLØWD COMPLETE BOX: CLØWD NINE was released in November 2018, containing recordings of their final concert, their third-anniversary live, and other archival footage, offering a comprehensive look at the band’s brief but impactful career.
