NJ hardcore metal band based at the Jersey Shore in Monmouth County, NJ playing a mix of hardcore, beatdown, sludge, doom and death metal. Gunk formed in 2022 when 4 middle school and high school friends were hitting all ages shows in NY and NJ, getting inspired hearing the greatest bands that first started the hardcore scene, and wanting to carry on the torch into the future.
