Two Step is a Dave Matthews Band tribute originating in Charlotte, NC. They are a six-man band with Brent Cates on drums and vocals, bother Justin on guitar, as well as bass guitar, sax, keyboards, and violin.

Formed in the summer of 2002 by brothers Brent on drums and lead vocals and Justin on acoustic guitar, their first huge break came at a St. Patrick's Day show sponsored by Charlotte's 106.5 The END in 2003. The success of the show created a shockwave that landed the group gigs nearly every weekend for the rest of the year in venues all over the Southeast. It was not long before Two Step came to be known as an officially recognized DMB tribute band, and as Charlotte's own DMB tribute band.
