The Simple Truth was a Christian country rock band from the Jesus Music era that existed from 1972 to 1977 and toured the United States. Her most famous song "Ain't Jesus Good" was very popular in the emerging Christian music scene at that time. Original bandmates were Dave Adams, Paul Land, Rick Passer and Hal Waterhouse. Later band members were John Beasley, Stan Adell and Chad Watson.
