Maryan MG is a Mexican singer and songwriter with a Lolita look and makes Alternative / Rock / Trance music. She writes, composes and sings the songs of her Loli-Rock project named "Maryan MG" where she reflects her dreams, passion and deepest thoughts in songs filled with dark atmospheres, electronic sounds and strong, controversial lyrics related to topics like death, love and madness. Maryan MG is part of the alternative music scene with her unusual, fresh and “Gothic Lolita” and “Victorian” style. In each and every Maryan MG performance she surprises the audience wearing different costumes (cosplay), masks, wigs, sometimes utilize knives, dolls and clothing designs of her own. Her artistic career involves performances in several cultural stages like the Historic Zocalo of Mexico City in the “festival de día de muertos” (2008), different municipalities of Estado de México, universities, theatres like Javier Barro Sierra, anime and comics conventions (Expo Comic, TNT, Aztekomic, Expo Anime, La Mole, etc), art expositions and some night clubs and special events like the 3rd anniversary of the Gótica magazine where her original music and doll like/Arabic movements have been heard and watched by several audiences.

She has collaborated with Uriel Salinas in the creation of an original song for a soap opera of “Televisa” and has appeared in several media like IMER, Cio Noticias, Reforma and Excelsior online, Jappannext magazine and Gotica magazine which in their issue 32 named Maryan MG as the “first Mexican Gothic Lolita to develop an artistic project as a solo artist”. Nowadays Maryan MG is promoting her first studio single named “My body dead” that includes the song “My body dead” plus a metal version of part of Mozart..s requiem “Lacrymosa” and a bonus track. In other subjects Maryan writes short stories like “La brisa” (The breeze) which won a first place award in the first “Essay, poetry and short story contest” organized by UAEM. She is now ending her first short stories collection called “Bedtime Stories for Sadistic Kids” which she will publish in 2010.
