1) The Body Politic is a punk rock band from Mankato, MN. They were formed in August 2008 after Trent Fast (guitar/vocals) and Wes Gad (guitar) decided to begin writing together. Mike Kaduce (drums) is also a founding member. They began writing and recording in their basement and eventually added bassist Lou Just in October. The band played their first show on January 2, 2009 at The Depot in Hopkins, MN. The Body Politic EP was put out the following month, and is their first release, featuring 6 songs.
