Synthetic Zen is the performing alias for Hawke Robinson in his musical efforts. Originally from California, residing in several states in the United States over the years, now residing in Washington state. A full time single parent of 3 boys.
A retired computer scientist and now music therapist in training, a hobbyist musician since 1978. Composing and performing multi-instrumentalist and vocalist since the late 1970s, from a wide range of styles with over 20 instruments from around the world, including contemporary and ethnic instruments, as well as electronic music.
