Christel Veraart composes, arranges and performs music for video and stage production. With modern, classical and Latin influences, her music could be variously described as ambient, modern, electronic or new age. She studied classical piano and voice in Europe and South America, and is an experienced concert performer in Europe, Latin America and the USA. A professional singer and instrumentalist, Christel Veraart is also highly experienced in performance and production of electronic music.

Now living in Alaska, Christel Veraart is writing and performing musical compositions for dance and film and undertakes narration for various projects. Inspired by landscapes, her new compositions are inspired by the stark beauty of the Alaskan wilderness. She has released several CDs, and is now combining her music and voice with images and video to create a unique art form.

In addition to composing and performing, Christel Veraart is an experienced voice coach and music teacher. In 2011 she launched Creative Clinics, a new venture where participants combine music and images into their own multimedia project.
