All Along Lyrics

It's not everything it seems, the world and its dreams
Slipping like water through my hands tonight
All the things I thought would fill me up inside
Left me empty here and now I know why

All along I was looking for something else
You're something else
All along I was looking for something more
You're so much more
I finally found what I could never see before
You've always been the one that I was looking for

All of my castles in the sand, washed away again
And I'm left back where I began tonight
The only thing that can ever fill me up
Has been right in front of me all the time

All along I was looking for something else
You're something else
All along I was looking for something more
You're so much more
I finally found what I could never see before
You've always been the one that I was looking for

And I won't miss you, I won't miss you this time
And I said I want you, how I want you in my life

All along I was looking for something more
You're so much more

All along I was looking for something else
You're something else
All along I was looking for something more
You're so much more

I finally found what I could never see before
You've always been the one that I was looking for
I finally found what I could never see before
You've always been the one that I was looking for

Remedy Drive is a pop rock band from Lincoln, Nebraska.

The band was formed by four brothers in 1998 as "The Aslan Band." They released their first album Remedy in 1998. Soon after they changed their name to "Remedy" and released three more independent records, Remedy (The Blue One) (1999), Remedy (The Red One) (2001), Remedy: A Live Album (2004), and Magnify (2005). Afterwards they changed their name to "Remedy Drive" and released their last independent record, Rip Open The Skies, in 2006. They were signed to Word Records after ward and released their album Daylight Is Coming in 2008. In late 2010 after touring with other Christian artists such as Barlowgirl, Skillet, Building 429, Sidewalk Prophets, Fee, MercyMe and others, lead singer David Zach announced that his brothers would be leaving the band.
