All Along Lyrics

I can't believe I've fallen so hard for you
We've known each other so long
All along I've been out lookin' for somethin'
When somethin' was you all along

I used to look to you as a friend
The one I'd call when I felt like my life was 'bout to end
When the sky is fallin' down and the walls are closin' in
Inside I need a friend so I'm callin' you again

Oh, can you life me up 'cause I feel so down
I'm lost in my head I feel used
But refused to believe that love is dead
She gave me all the signs but I was blind, my third eye sees you

I keep hookin' up and leavin' believin' this one's right
But that one just ain't my type or hype
See I'm not tryin' to waste my life
We'll sit back and watch as it races by

'Cause what I'm lookin' for is a love that's true
I never thought it was you and I don't know why
I always thought it was her that I'd find her for sure
But I'm a little too old to be actin' immature

I can't believe I've fallen so hard for you
We've known each other so long
All along I've been out lookin' for somethin'
When somethin' was you all along

You're the one that love me, you're the one that cares
And girl, you're the one that'll always be there
See I've looked high and I've looked low
For the girl that I had right under my nose

And goes to show that you really never know
So I turned around and found my way back to your front door
And I don't think we can just be friends anymore
I'm here to let you know I let the other girls go

I hope you feel like I feel 'cause I swear there's somethin' real
It's tearin' me apart now I'm the owner of a lonely heart
So if I wish upon a star we can live a fairy tale
I'm not afraid to try and I'm not afraid to fail

I made up my mind this time you tipped the scale
Let my lips touch your lips, keep it down girl
'Cause I wouldn't want you to miss this for the world
My third eye sees you now

Girl, you could keep me here to stay
Girl, you just take my breath away
You're more than just a friend to me
So you can have your way

Let's say that we were meant to be
If we don't try we'll never see
Believe and take a chance with me
So you can have your way

I can't believe I've fallen so hard for you
We've known each other so long
All along I've been out lookin' for somethin'
When somethin' was you all along

There are two artists performing under the name Shifty.
One is the grime artist from Manchester, England, best known for his freestyling and mixtapes, and the other is Shifty Shellshock is the pseudonym for Seth Brooks Binzer (born August 23, 1974), the co-founder/front man of Crazy Town.

Life

Binzer was born in Los Angeles to Leslie Brooks and Rollin Binzer. His father was an artist and filmmaker who did album covers and directed "Ladies and Gentlemen, The Rolling Stones" a 1972 Rolling Stones performance film.

His family moved to the Boston, Massachusetts area during his childhood, then back to Los Angeles when he was 12. Binzer began writing rhymes and then later rapping. During adolescence, he immersed himself in the West Coast hip hop scene and became a graffiti artist around Los Angeles with Westwood Village and Hollywood among his targets. It made sense, "I got into all the biggest graffiti crews 'cos no one could believe what I would climb up into and write on. I was like a monkey. I would climb onto the tallest buildings."[citation needed]

It was through those crews that he became friends with Scott Caan and The Alchemist, and became a member of late 80's/early 90's hip-hop outfit The Whooliganz. He toured as the band's hype man at the age of 15, alongside the bands Cypress Hill, Rage Against the Machine and House of Pain.

Crazy Town

In a L.A recording studio in 1995 Binzer met Crazy Town co-founder Epic Mazur. Binzer and Mazur began working together under the name The Brimstone Sluggers. The Sluggers never signed to a label or released a CD. Binzer and Mazur also split their time doing production work for other bands, most notably the Black Eyed Peas.

Between late 1998 and early 1999, Binzer and Mazur assembled the band Crazy Town. Crazy Town recorded and released its first album "The Gift of Game" in the same year and scored a #1 hit with their single Butterfly in early 2001. Reportedly, the song was written by Binzer about a recent break up with his long time girlfriend, Cynthia Mittweg.[citation needed]

Crazy Town split up in 2003, after receiving little success from their sophomore album Darkhorse.

Other Work

In 2002, Binzer contributed vocals to the Paul Oakenfold song "Starry Eyed Surprise," which made the top 10 in the UK. In 2004, he released his debut solo single, "Slide Along Side," as well as his debut album, Happy Love Sick.

Binzer has appeared in two films, one was Clifford in 1994 and the other was a short film called Willowbee released in 2004 starring Amy Smart.

Binzer has also begun working on a new band called Cherry Lane.
