Based out of La Jolla, San Diego, California, Soda Pants started with Mike Sierks and Grady Kestler writing songs while attending Sixth College RA development in August of 2011. Soon Soda Pants recruited Will Chapman the band's drummer, and later included Erin Bower as their vocalist.
