Ian Patrick Rodgers is an American singer/songwriter, independent filmmaker, and an actor, growing up in a very small town full of 1,300 people, called Round Hill, Virginia. Ian Rodgers was born on June 4, 1996, and has been playing music and making movies and starring in a lot of plays throughout his life. Even if Ian, himself, has Autism, he still sings and plays guitar at the same time. His greatest influences came from the minds of Paul Brian, who taught him some poetry and how to write lyrics, and his uncle Darrell Elmer Rodgers, who happens to play country/bluegrass acoustic guitar music. And, that's where all this talent came from!

When he was 14, he had all kinds of problems, such as "puberty and poverty at the same time." But, by the time he reached 15, back in 2011, he was starting to mature about his Autism, and at Wal-Mart, he bought a digital recorder and used it as his own independent recording studio, but he didn't know anything about recording software. He started out as pre-recorded presets, long before he knew how to record music. Finally, by 2013, he had made his first album, which was simply just called "Ian Rodgers." This first album was only an independent release. His first album includes "Ian's Rules," which was about 10 rules of him, having Autism. And also, his first album includes the song, "Come As You Are," which was a rap song that came recording from North Bay, Maryland. His favorite song that made sense to his mother was another song, called "Cabin Time," which was about the relationship between Ian Rodgers and Jesus Christ. He also has his own self-record label, called "Ian Rodgers Music!"

Then, on January 7, 2014, still only 17 years old, Ian Rodgers has finally released his second studio album, "Punishment." Ian Rodgers says, "It's not like you could punish yourself for anything. It doesn't happen like that. 'Punishment' is about my sister, Emma Rodgers and I, going on a shopping spree, one time. And, I remember thinking that we should buy one of the hottest T-shirt we could ever buy at Wal-Mart. We picked out The Punisher." So, that's where the name "Punishment" came from.

Right now, Ian Rodgers has about 2 albums available. One is only an independent release, and another is a public release!
