TV Party formed about 3 weeks prior to their first ever gig - originally as a side project for Chris from The Kicks- where they we're proclaimed by many, as the best band of the day. Soon after The Kicks split and TV Party were the main focus for Chris.

Ever since then TV Party have grown and moved constantly from strength to strength writing, gigging and earning themselfs new fans everywhere they play.

TV Party play their own blend of Alternative/Hard Rock with Punk and Grunge overtones. They are heavily influenced by just about every band and sound they hear. The main bands that come to mind though are Sonic Youth, The Pixies, Black Flag, Nirvana, My Bloody Valentine, Buzzcocks, Flipper and Be Your Own Pet.

They describe their own sound as, "Black Flag, Sonic Youth and Nirvana trying to make kiddies in the back room of CBGB's ..."

TV Party's current main aim is to just get their music out there, play, have fun and entertain!
