Formation formulated in the fall of 2006.
The band originally obtained a fifth member playing keys/noise, Sir Chris Sexton, whom departed in the spring of 2007. COS recorded 3 demos and were picked to play the Ernie Ball Stage at the 2007 Vans Warped Tour. COS began working on their debut full length in the fall of 2007, kept touring regionally and independently released L'Implosion, they're debut full length, on January 25, 2009. L'Implosion was written, recorded, mixed and produced by City of Sound. Rob Schlette mastered L'Implosion.

The band released their newest effort, "Creatures" on January 21st, 2012. It was a self produced album, with mixing and mastering being handled by Luke Frederickson
