He lives in Portland, Oregon and has for some time. he has a lovely wife, a dog named Rufus, a day job downtown, an obsession for music. he had a recording deal with Geffen/ DGC Records as the singer/songwriter-type for a moment or two in the late 90s that evaporated far too quickly to produce much of note. between then and now, lael has done his fair share of temporary employment gigs, made morning coffee for the good working folk, stocked warehouses, been a tea taster, attended university, graduated from university, got what your parents might call a real job, all the while playing some inspired indie rock (check out the Bella Fayes at www.thebellafayes.com or www.myspace.com/thebellafayes) and, on the whole, keeping it real. he has now taken to recording in a home studio of sorts to see what it is that he has to say to himself after all this time has rolled by.
