Drive By Wire operates from the town Deventer, The Netherlands consisting of three members; Simone Holsbeek-vocals & guitar ( ex-Cords, ex-Telefunk) , Alwin Wubben-guitar & slide, and Rob Snijders playing drums. (for the recordings of their debutalbum, Hans Rutten from The Gathering took place behind the drumkit). A throat, 2 guitars and a set of drums is all they need. So how would it sound if you put Kyuss, PJ Harvey and Monster Magnet in a rehearsal room jamming together? Well it sure as hell won't sound like Drive By Wire. A beaten up 69 woman doing 160 through the smouldering desert towards a raging thunderstorm with Chriss Cross at the steering weel and The Stooges kicking the shit out of P.J.
