Effectively a continuation of 1960s beat band, The Nicols, Fairy Tale was a short-lived psychedelic, progressive rock band from The Hague, The Netherlands, active from 1969 to 1971.

Fairy Tale released one full-length LP (Once Upon a Time, 1969) through the Blossom record label and two singles on Philips: 'A Reason to Stay' b/w 'Oh boy' (1970) and 'Story With No End' b/w 'Streetnoise' (1971).
