There are at least seven bands that have been called Unhallowed.

1) An American blackened death metal band from Long Island, NY. Who are currently working on their first demo Beneath Bleeding Skies.

2) A metal band from Oak Ridge, New Jersey who have released an album and several demos & EPs.

3) A hardcore band from Boise, Idaho. They've put out a full length and a split 7" with other Boise bands, including Brogrinder, Manville, and P9R, and they play shows regularly.

4) A metal band from Bendigo, Vic/Australia, who pride themselves on their solos.

5) A German melodic black/death metal band who recorded a demo in the end of 1997 and split up in 1998. Their style was heavily influenced by Dissection's sound in the 90s.

6) Polish black metal band which was a side project of Besatt members Morbid and Fulmineus. Released one split demo with Besatt and Tragedy Begins in 2000.

7) Russian death metal band. Released two demos in 2004 and 2005 before split-up.
