Sabelo Richmond Makapela a.k.a Skeleton Blazer was born in the Eastern Cape, South Africa.

In the early 1990's, he then moved to Johannesburg.

Skeleton Blazer is a reggae / dancehall artist who leads a strict Rastafari way of life; he owes that to his step father who paved the Rastafari way of life for him. Skeleton Blazer first started singing at dub session back in 1997. In 2002, he wrote his first song.

Man of a battle is his first album released in 2008 and in 2009 he released a ten track promo album.

His latest album Big Up Yo'self was released in October 2010.
