Amos Miller has produced tracks for nearly all of Seattles hip hop and R&B talent, including Piece, Choklate, Silent Lamb Project, Vitamin D, Jake One, Geologic of the Blue Scholars, to name a few. In 2001, he produced and wrote his first album Amelation. After going back to school for music, he got back in the studio in 2005, where he produced a track featuring Def Jam recording artist Bone Crusher and collaborated with R&B vocalist Choklate, resulting in the song "Heavy" on her self-titled album which was released on Kajmere Sound in 2006. 2007 was a busy year for Amos producing the full-length album, Lovework by Gabriel Teodros. In 2008, he finished his first full-length album with a R&B vocalist, resulting in Only Love, the solo debut from the soulful voice of Toni Hill, due out in 2009. Amos also performed as the resident keyboard player at Jumbalaya, Seattles notorious weekly hip-hop/soul improv night, writes piano compositions, co-produces Porch Jams, a hip-hop animation series, and has established www.neonfresh.com, a website for young people to share their voice through positive hip-hop music videos.
Amos' path has led him to believe in the importance of empowering youth to use music as their vehicle for social change. He has worked with inner city youth since 2000, fusing his love for music with his desire to give back to the community. In 2001 he started a hip-hop music program at Rotary Boys and Girls Club in Seattles Central District. Amos works for multiple organizations as the lead facilitator for inner city CD recording projects, solidifying his talents as a producer and positive youth mentor. Read more on Last.fm.
