Black Mare is the solo project of Sera Timms (Ides Of Gemini, Black Math Horseman). Black Mare (Sera Timms) recently released a new album, titled "Outsiders", where she demonstrated that she is quite comfortable with taking the art of others and passing it off as her own with the track "The Atropos Cut", which is directly taken from Burzum's "Dunkelheit". Black Mare later went back and credited Burzum only after being called out. The original credit was to her for the writing of the song. Still, from a copyright law perspective “The Atropos Cut” is a derivative work and would have required explicit permission from Varg Vikernes (or his publisher), which she likely did not receive.
