Music has the power to change hearts. Hearts can change minds. Minds can change the world.

The three members of Vaeda formed in 2003 in Long Island, NY with this mantra in mind and set out to play their part. After years of touring, writing, and absorbing every moment, Vaeda traveled to Toronto in October 2007 to record the album of their lives.

The result is Unsafe At Any Speed, a collection of 12 songs steeped in passion, aggression, beauty, and honesty, an album powerful enough to change hearts. From the shimmering guitars and soothing cellos of Save Your Savior to the crushing rhythms and effects-laden digital bath of Asleep At The Wheel, Unsafe At Any Speed captures every emotion of the human condition. Each song is a journey of honest self-exploration, a reminder that the first heart that music can change is your own.
