Jumping Ship is a 5 piece Pop Punk band from Normal, Illinois. (or Chicago if that's easier.) Pulling inspiration both from today's Pop Punk heavy hitters as well as those from the genre's golden years of the early 2000s, the band consistently puts together high-energy, meaningful songs that will inevitably spin around in your head for hours. Being in a genre that can often fall victim to being repetitive and cookie-cutter, Jumping Ship has found their unique sound by using distinct vocal melodies, lively guitars, calculated lyricism, collaborative writing, and a willingness to lean into the stylings of other genres ranging from Hardcore to Pop.
