Villa Dom was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. His musical influences from young are the great artist of all musical genres, like Kurtis Blow, Marvin Gaye, Anita Banker, the Furious Five, James Brown, Nas, Big Daddy Kane, Ice Cube, Ghetto Men and various artist. Villa Dom began his career as a Hip-hop artist in 1993 when he recorded his first demo with the first group he was in called the LittaBuggz. While with the LittaBugga the group signed to Ominspin and recorded songs for the labels compliation album called "Crime Scene" which featured several of the groups songs, "Roller Coaster" "Trails & Tribulations and "Its a Heist". Although the complaition album did very well here in the States and across seas, The LittaBuggz departed from Omnispin Records due to complications with the label. It was then that Villa Dom began to pursue his solo career, starting his own Publishing company Lil Villa Publishing and recording solo material. Gaining buzz for himself in the underground rap circuit in New York in 1996, He ran into a neighborhood friends (P.Bombay, FLM & Smiz) who had just started a group called Ghetto Mentality and a record label called Engr records. From there Villa Dom became a part of the group Ghetto Mentality and began to feature on street singles like "Unlocked Chains", "Street Life" & "Get The Doe". As these singles created buzz and help build the Engr brand. Ghetto Mentality began to work on their classic album "N It 4 Life" that debut in 2003. Since then Engr Records transformed into Engr Ent LLC and Villa Dom was named President of the Company. Currently Villa Dom is recording his first solo debut and is getting ready to release Ghetto Mentality's newest album 13 1 Hit Wonders due to be released this summer! Tell the World I'm Coming is Villa Dom's single that is featured on the 13 1 Hit Wonders album.
