James Edmonds (AKA X Sentinel) was born in Solihull, England.

My genre of music is difficult to place. I draw influence from so many different styles of music but the one sure thing is that the focus of this music is the beauty of sound and the feeling of it while leaving all the gimmicks behind. You won't find repeated catchy beats here (well you may, but that is not the aim).

I will never not write anything I feel is good but not marketable because that will only limit your music.

I have been writing music for over a decade now. I draw influence from memories and dreams, as well as my favorite artists including Tool, Dream Theater, Pendulum, The Mars Volta etc.
