MariaMatilde Band is a Danish pop duo from Denmark that released their debut album "Neonkys" in April 2009. The duo consists of Maria Sejer and Matilde Kühl. Their career gained wider attention after a record label contacted them upon hearing a demo on their Myspace page.

The songs on "Neonkys" incorporate elements inspired by 1980s pop music combined with contemporary production. The album was produced by Søren Mikkelsen, who has also worked with Sys Bjerre, Mads Langer and Kim Larsen. Among the duo’s cited influences is Anne Linnet, who contributed the song "Skygger" to the album.

On 6 February 2010, MariaMatilde Band participated in Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2010 with the song "Panik!", which they co-wrote with Mads Haugaard and Marcus Winter-John. The song was not originally selected for the competition but was included after Zindy Laursen withdrew less than 24 hours before the participants were presented to the press.
