hatespeech was formed by Tan Serdar (vocals, guitar) and Onat Hafız (drums) in early 2019. They completed their recent line-up with Okan Özgürbüz (bass).

While they do not fit in one genre, their lyrics are mostly protest. Their negative name has been chosen sarcastically for shock value, since the band stands against what it references.
